Medical College Hospital at Arpookara started functionning on s14.04.1970 with a humble begining.[Later the Medical College campus and surrounding locality were named as 'GANDHINAGAR' from 1974].Construction of ABC and EFG blocks of MCH were completed during 1969 & 1970 respectively.It is the centre for testing covid 19.It is told that the best vivid care center.

Excellent classes at weekend. U can avail the reading room facility in the institute during week days from morning 8 am to evening 6 pm. More useful..

Beautiful auditorium. Excellent seating arrangement. Post graduate entrance coaching classes conducted here for doctors. The classes are simply superb.

The alumini is not what it once was, earlier the teaching was more of a continued medical education, but now they concentrate more on mcq but they are not in par with the dams near by, some of the subjects like surgery or ent is just some mcq discussion, which is not enough, we need more theory, And more over the first free rows of seat gets flooded in rainy season.
